Craving for a Rant......My very first rant.

I was just sitting around my room having just finished with my financial aid paperwork and was just in the mood for a big, juicy rant post. So I am about to sink my fangs in this thing and chew it down to the bone. Wow, that was a lot of figurative language. Anywho, the topic for my first rant on the Planet Blogger will be video games. Games are becoming more and more innovative in design and gameplay. Yet, as games get better to look at and play, the price because more and more expensive. I am a budget gamer who likes to wait for the "Greatest Hits" line to come out before I even think about buying it. All I find a good place for games is Ebay. Ebay is your best friend if you know how to use her right. Treat her with disrespect and carelessness and she'll bite you right in the wallet. Retail stores are getting ridiculous nowadays. My local Sam Goody isn't even trying to sell games anymore. I like my salespeople to actually give one thirds of a damn at least. I go in and if I have a question about some games, they don't know way or at least ask if I got a question. Ebgames is one store that have a problem with at times. One problem I have is their lack of knowledge in their stock. I was shopping in an Ebgames in Jacksonville with my mom and aunts and I wanted to get a game for my ever small GBA collection. So I was talking to an associate about this game called Fire Emblem. Anywho, I had to discuss with my mother (me being a momma's boy, I have to go over all my purchases with her). So after I gained her approval, the associate I was talking to had gone home for the day, so I had to deal with someone else. So, I asked him about the game and everything. So first off, he couldn't find the game and second when he did find the game, it wasn't the same game the other associate was talking about. The game came with instructions and other swag, this was just the game. So after about 5 minutes of diplomacy, I finally got the one I wanted. The life of a gamer is a pretty lonely one I must admit, but it's a life of simplicity and peace.
