Work, work and more work and a few nice things in between

Man, it has been a very very long time since I last made a post on this thing. I have been so very, very busy with work and what not. Work is good but there been some happenings. My co-worker and mentor, John quit and the new guy, Jim was let go. Joe, Victor and my hours were crazy. Also after John quit, I was taught how to close out the cash drawer. I am thinking to myself why did it take so long for me to learn how to close. I should have been learning how for weeks with either Joe or Victor. But it's all good, I am closing now and I have gotten the hang of it. Shucks, my mom says if I keep up the good work someday they might make me the manager but I don't think I am cut out for that. Victor is more suited for that position than me. Maybe assistant manager would be nice for me. Oh well, I am starting to digress. Last night was one of my better nights, a weekday night. Weekday nights are very slow and you have a better chance of getting all of the stuff that needs to be done. It was me and new, new guy Jessie the Saint. We call him the Saint because of his girlfriend. We figure a guy like him had to have been a saint in a former life to get a super hottie like that. Anyway, it was a easy night. We got all the things we needed to get done before 10pm. I was very proud about that. Tonight, I gotta go in at 5 pm. I am kinda looking forward to it. Well, moving on to other things. I really miss Tasha, I have lost track of her again. It's so strange, she and I live in the same town but we have the hardest time getting together. My mom really wants to meet her and she should. We have been seeing each other for a couple of months, and they should meet. Tasha isn't a terrible person, so she and my mom should get along ok.
