Mother Magus' Class Reunion.

Wow, what a weekend!! The past weekend was my mother's class reunion (under penalty of death, I can't divulge the year). 25 of her fellow classmates descended onto Blackshear where it all began. Friday night was Hawaiian luau night. Yet in South Georgia, Hawaiian is basically bright color and grass skirts. Despite the overall corniness, fun was had by all. Food was excellent and prepared by my mother's play daughter and son-in-law, Necee and Pokey. Saturday morning was the class brunch. Like the night before, the food was delicious and flavorful. There was a pasta dish I didn't recognize that was superb. The brunch serviced a different purpose. It was also a retirement party for one of the classmates. However, it was such a well-keep secret that she was over an hour late. Regardless of the time, it was still a lovely brunch. Later that evening was the formal banquet. Everyone was wearing their formal best. As dinner was served however was a bit hit or miss. The food could be considered in the range of cafeteria food and army food. Despite the food, it was a beautiful affair and my mom had a ball. I hadn't seen her so happy in a long time. Being a cameraman, I managed to be a little part of the reunion. Well, I better wrap this up. I have footage to work on. Tata for now.
