Helping to Assess the situtation and fighting off the demons of boredom

Today was just like every other day. The fall winds blow a cool breeze across the land. Leaves are beginning to turn into those beautiful browns, oranges, and reds. People are bundling up in warm for the coming winter season. Yet, for me, I am near death with boredom. It is a miracle that I havent passed out from the sheer dullness of it all. This post hopefully will rememdy this because today is the second day for the Assessment Test. For those who don't know from the other post (or in case I forgot to tell you) I am working in the Adult Lit. Dept. of my college. The GED Assessment test helps individuals to figure what to study in order to take the GED test. I help with the first night's and I am lending a hand again tonight. The long hours don't bother me anymore. I have gotten use to them thanks to Rhino, so whenever they need a hand here, I am always willing to step in for a few hours. I feel appreciated and wanted here. This past monday, I was helping some students with English and Math. One girl referred to me as being smart. Now I always been a very knowledgeable person. I watch educational programs, do reasearch on favorite topics and discussions and watch the news whenever I can. It feels good to be called smart every now and then. It's always good to be loved, everybody needs a little love in the life to make it worthwhile. I think that is the problem in the world today, nobody has that love for the follow man (or woman). Friendship and brotherly love are two things I am always preaching about. Every person need at least one good friend to talk to or to hang out with. "No man is an island" is my motto and I live it like the Golden Rule. Speaking of friend, Kimchi is an awesome friend. She and my mom had a talk, I couldn't believe that. I thought it was real cute those two talking to each other. Kimchi said I was a great friend and my mom raised me great. Well, of course, you can't fault good upbringing. Kim is in Las Vegas with her man and she is happy and that's all that matters really. As long as I talk to her, then I am good. Well, I think I will do some reading and maybe that will help with the boredom. Peace in the middle, south and northeast. Tata for now, all you beautiful and happy people.
