The 2 Nights before Christmas....

Here we are on the verge of another Christmas season and what do I see? Petty materialistic people buying stuff for people who will just sell on Ebay doing the following year. Why are we so obsessed with buying crap for the ungrateful? If someone can answer that, please do. In the past few weeks, my mom and I have been rigorously shopping our butts off trying to get everything ready for this most important of days in the Magus household. Mother Magus loves Christmas as much as I do and watch an unholy amount of Christmas movies on Lifetime, Hallmark Channel and just about anything family related. I on the other hand, do indulge in the pleasures of an animated special or two, plus doing some Christmas events in MapleStory. I love that game so much. For those who may not know, MapleStory is a 2D side-scrolling MMO which was really big in Korea. Like everything that is big in Korea, it makes its way to the American shores and we ate it up like crack. Anyway, I digress back to my Christmas plight. We have going from town to town in order to finish up our shopping. We have only one last obstacle: Christmas dinner. Thanks to a lack of planning on our parts, we didn't get our ingredients until today and its been an uphill battle to do so. It was like A Christmas Carol and see all those past visions whirling past us. I saw my ex and my principal, old classmates in bummy jobs, and other old acquaintances I'd rather not see any time of the year let alone Christmas time. So after being pushed, shoved, pinched, poked and jabbed, we still don't have everything that we need. Next year, I am doing all my shopping 2 weeks before the holidays. Then, I'm just going to lock myself in and drink cocoa until Christmas. I got Mother Magus something really nice but I won't tell you because who know who reads this. You will just have to wait until Christmas. Well, I better go, this egg nog ain't going drink itself. See you guys later. Tata for now and a Merry Christmas.
