Holidays are a’comin… are you ready?

It has been a very slow process getting ready for the coming day. Decorations, cleaning and shopping are just a few things that have to be done. I had a late start by a week./ Once I got caught up, more things come up. Christmas is always wonderful and hectic at the same time. Everyone trying to make sure they have a Merry Christmas. In the Magus Castle, it is a different story. We love Christmas like everyone but we try to see the reason behind the madness. People lose their minds during the month. “Hurry, we have to get little Billy an action figure before Christmas that we can get anytime of the year. Retailers stoke the fires of the Christmas machine with markdowns and doorbuster sales. My  shopping  is done and I just go out and pick up some odds and ends and watch the madness start to unfold. Whatever I really wanted for a gift, I’ll just buy after Christmas. As I sit here, drinking some hot cocoa, I think about those less fortunate than I. No one is blessed with a castle filled with servants and minions. To those, I wish a Merry Christmas and a Glorious New Year. Tata for now
